Trumpeter, composer, arranger and teacher, Freddie Gavita is clearly a young man with a growing reputation. Originally from Norwich, he graduated from the Royal Academy of Music. He won the 2008 British Jazz Award for Rising Star and has played regularly with the John Dankworth Orchestra, the Ronnie Scott's Big Band, Empirical, the Ronnie Scott's All-Stars, the London Jazz Orchestra and the Andy Panayi Big Band.
